In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, healthcare professionals (HCPs) are faced with the challenge of easing the backlog in diabetes diagnosis, ongoing patient care and follow-up management. The recent situation has also led to increased focus on strategies that enable practices to offer sustained and optimal diabetes care in the future.
We are delighted to invite you to join us for a webinar, ‘PCDS – COVID-19 backlog and beyond” on Thursday 4 November at 1pm. The broadcast is chaired by Naresh Kanumilli, a Community Diabetes Consultant at Manchester University Foundation Trust, and will summarise strategic approaches in how to identify missed care processes in diabetes diagnosis and management as a result of COVID-19. In addition, the panel will discuss examples in how to organise and implement sustained catch-up care at the practice level as well as the development of a framework to improve practice delivery in patient data tracking and risk-stratification. The overall objective is to provide practical ideas and optimal solutions for catch-up management and future diabetes care.
Throughout this event you will have the opportunity to submit your questions for a live Q&A session at the end of each broadcast.
