Product recall over faulty glucose test strips

The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) have issued a recall on a small number of TRUEyou blood glucose test strips.

Owing to a packaging error, there is a risk that affected batches may give incorrect low blood glucose results, leading to undetected hyperglycaemia. The affected batches should be returned to the manufacturers, Nipro Diagnostics (UK) Limited.

Details on the affected batch numbers and recommended actions are available on the MHRA website.
