NHS Diabetes Innovations Hub

As an interesting new development for healthcare professionals in diabetes care, NHS Diabetes launched the “NHS Diabetes Innovations Hub” in August this year, helping to showcase innovative ideas and connect individuals across the country.

The Diabetes Innovations Hub portal, led by Dr Partha Kar, NHS Diabetes Innovation Lead, is a collection of existing diabetes care models around the UK. The hub features success stories of how NHS organisations have improved diabetes services in their region, as well as blogs and other social media from people with diabetes, giving them the chance to share their stories. Through the exchange of ideas, it is hoped that healthcare professionals will be able to learn and take tips from the experiences of others.

In order for the Diabetes Innovations Hub portal to expand and continue to be a useful up-to-date resource, all healthcare professionals in diabetes care are now encouraged to share their innovations, whether large or small, by completing the Innovations Hub online form at: www.diabetes.nhs.uk/innovations_hub/?#sg_anchor_innovationform.

You can access the Innovations Hub Portal at: www.diabetes.nhs.uk/innovations_hub.

For any queries or further details, please contact Dr Partha Kar via the portal.
